The release of The Man in the Ball Cap marked a major step for JSM Cooperative Corporation.
This was not only the beginning of a novel’s public life.

Those themes sit close to the heart of JSM Cooperative. They also connect deeply to the work of Mindful Diabetes Inc., a nonprofit focused on education and awareness around diabetes, metabolic health, Alzheimer’s risk, and the idea often discussed as Type 3 diabetes.
Through JSM Cooperative, we hope to build a creative platform where books, blogs, donations, newsletters, and campaigns can help support work like this.

The Man in the Ball Cap as a symbol
The Man in the Ball Cap is more than our debut novel.
It is the first major creative anchor in the JSM Cooperative mission.
It represents the belief that stories can:
